Michele Ainza is a Yoga Alliance certified 500 E-RYT and YACEP and has been practicing Yoga for over two decades. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography, as well as a certification in movement analysis (CLMA). Michele is the Director and Lead Instructor of Embodied Practice, a Yoga Alliance certified 200 HR Teacher Training Program and School, and has been on faculty as a professor and guest artist throughout the United States and Mexico for over two decades. As an instructor, she seamlessly infuses her knowledge of movement awareness, creativity and yoga philosophy to the classroom, instilling an individualized practice to each of her students. Her aim is to make yoga accessible to all, build community bonds, and help develop gratitude.
Michele offers public and private yoga classes designed to enrich the overall health of her students and clients by helping them achieve their wellness goals. Her expertise lies within the somatic field of biomechanics, anatomical alignment, and spatial awareness. Her goal as a movement facilitator is to develop harmony within the body and mind while working towards physical longevity by increasing ease and range of motion, as well as overall strength. She believes in the inherent wisdom of the body and guides her students to attentively listen and honor its voice in order to remain present.
